Connor Trinneer Bio

Chief Engineer Charles "Trip" Tucker III in Star Trek: Enterprise

Connor Trinneer stars as Chief Engineer Charles "Trip" Tucker III, a brilliant, Southern engineer with an offbeat sense of humor, in the UPN drama series STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE. 

Born in Walla Walla, Wash., Trinneer attended Pacific Lutheran University in Washington, where he played college football and ultimately discovered the theater. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in acting and then went on to receive a master's of fine arts in acting and directing from the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

Trinneer's television credits include guest-starring roles in several series, including "Freaky Links," "Gideon's Crossing," "Melrose Place," "Touched by an Angel," "Pensacola" and "E.R." He also played lead roles in the independent film "Duncan's Shadow," and television movies "Far East" and "61*."

His theater background includes several Off Broadway and regional theatre productions, including "Hamlet" at Virginia Stage Company, "Much Ado About Nothing" at the Utah Shakespearean Festival, "Far East" at Lincoln Center, "The Rover" at Circle X Theatre Company, "Picnic" at New Harmony Theatre, and "Julius Caesar" at Missouri Repertory Conservatory. 

Trinneer currently lives in Los Angeles. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, working out, surfing, snowboarding, reading and traveling, and he is a novice coin collector.
